Hi there! I am so glad that everyone got home safely on Friday. What a messy afternoon! If the snow started a bit earlier, I'm sure we would have gotten out early. Poor timing on that storm's part! Now we have another storm predicted for tomorrow night into Wednesday, ah! I wonder what that will bring (so far the barometric pressure has brought some extra energy into my classroom...)
Happy Read Across America Week!!! We have lots of fun activities planned for the upcoming we celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday:
Monday: Introduce Read Across America Week
Tuesday: Oh, the Places You’ll Go + Map Activity
Wednesday: Wacky Wednesday (Crazy Socks + Hats)
Thursday: The Lorax Reader's Theater (7th grade)
Friday: The Cat in the Hat Visits, All School Buddy Read at 8:30am. Dress as Favorite Dr. Seuss Character!
We have a very busy week ahead! Here's what on the agenda...
Please find the answers to this week's math homework below. For any of the problems, if your child chose to add two other numbers first, that's fine, I just wanted to show you the format that we taught it in. I hope this is helpful! Feedback is welcome :)
Ms Ferry shared with me some photos that she took during our buddy reading day. Check them out under the photos tab!
